Encaustic as Expression, Concept, Intention and Personal Voice: Advanced Workshop Spring 2026
Summary
This advanced-level class focuses on transferring photographic and printed imagery onto encaustic wax and manipulating those images through layering, fusing, and surface intervention. Students will explore advanced texture-building techniques, image distortion, and integration of image and wax, developing work that balances control with material unpredictability. Students will leave with a ready-to-hang artwork. (Limit 8)
