What’s the Buzz? 2026 (Grades 4-7)

Summary

In honor of our new butterfly enclosure, let’s explore more about our pollinators in West Virginia. Go behind the scenes in our enclosure and learn all about raising Monarch butterflies. Meet our Schrader Center beekeeper and learn about the honeybees we have on property. Work with honey in one-of-a-kind activities & learn the importance of pollinators while developing an appreciation for all insects.

Ages: Entering grade 4 – entering grade 7
Meets: 9am-3pm, June 15-19
Begins: Monday, June 15
Duration: 5 days

Waiver Statement:

Cancellation/Refund Policy: For participants to cancel and receive a full refund, they must notify the facility and cancel at least 2 WEEKS before the camp start date. No refunds will be granted less than two weeks from the camp start date, and there is no proration of camp fees once the camp has started. A cancellation fee of $20 is in effect for ALL cancelations made after April 1, even those made within the two-week cancellation period.
