Pittsburgh's Kinetic Theatre is bringing their production of David Mamet's Oleanna directed by Andrew Paul, starring David Whalen & Mei Lu Barnum to Oglebay Institute's Towngate Theatre on July 23, 2024 at 7:30.
The original "he said, she said" power play, Mamet's 1992 drama, Oleanna, ignited a firestorm, anticipating the #MeToo movemant and weaponization of political correctness. A college student stops by her professor's office in hopes of improving her grade - what could go wrong? As provocative today as it was when it was written. Oleanna runs for approximately 90 minutes with no intermission. Tickets are only $15 and reservations can be made by calling the Stifel Fine Arts Center at 304-242-7700 or going to oionline.com. Tickets will also be available at the door.
