Event Registration

Fall Astronomy 2023


Explore the solar and lunar skies at a special astronomy event at Speidel Observatory in Oglebay Park. Tour the facility, try your eye at “solar observing,” and participate in space science activities from 1-4pm. Observe planets through telescopes and learn about the constellations from 8-11pm (weather permitting). Jupiter and Saturn will be visible in the sky that night, so it should be a great night for planet viewing! (Limit 100)

Meets: Saturday, Sept. 23; 1-4pm and/or 8-11pm Begins: Sept. 23, 1pm (solar observing) and/or 8pm
(planets & constellations)
Duration: 2 sessions, 3 hours each
