Story Time Ballets with Oglebay Institute School of Dance- Remake Learning Days Event
Summary
Oglebay Institute’s School of Dance presents two story time ballets.
The first session will be from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The instructor will read “Flora and the Flamingo” and then participate in a ballet class where they will learn some of the steps highlighted in the book. This class is geared towards children 4-6 years of age.
The second session will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. will be geared to students ages 4-8 with varying cognitive and physical abilities. The instructor will read “I Will Dance,” an uplifting picture book that follows a young girl born with cerebral palsy as she pursues her dream of becoming a dancer. Then the students and their guests (parents, guardians or therapists are welcome) will participate in a dance class.
